i had some friends bring a gift today and this is what we did with the plastic that enclosed it...um, when does school start cause we have way too much time on our hands! i sure am going to miss these two!

yesterday the girls went for their first shots, and can i just say this experience was so sad! they practically had smiles on their faces before the nurse stuck them with the needle! they both cried like nothing i have ever heard, kaylee cried so hard she couldn't breath and kynlee well she made the saddest face i have ever seen! it broke my heart and i started crying because i could not comfort them both at the same time and all i kept thinking was how kynlee was so sick in the hospital and she never cried because she was too sick to cry and how a couple shots make her scream bloody murder! this mom was crying harder than the two of them put together!

on a lighter note..they both weighed in at 11bs 2oz !

kaylee likes to nap in my bed, the girls will usually sleep from 12-3 everyday and yesterday when i came in to check on her this is how i found her asleep..
now isn't that cute? no matter how i lay her down she always puts the blankets like this over her head..i will come pull them down and when i check on her a little while later i will see this again! she is so funny!

believe it or not this is pure excitement, the girls puff up their chest then their limbs move frantically and their breathing becomes very heavy..this is much excitement!

geoff will fiercely defend himself when i accuse him of not hanging up his towel in the morning..he is always 100% positive he did..usually because when he gets home it is hanging up..SO HERES THE PROOF SIR, YOU DO NOT HANG UP YOUR TOWEL IN THE MORNING! its ok though i still love you....

memories i dont want to forget...

i was reading someone elses blog the other day and came across a post about some of their childhood memories they wanted to remember..so i thought it would be fun to list some of my favorite memories of my adult life so here it goes...

• the day i married geoff, seeing him wait for me on the temple steps was the best feeling!


• when geoff proposed to me


• the days my children were born..it seems like i can remember every moment for every one of them like it was yesterday


• bringing kynlee home from the hospital, and finally having the girls together


• when my sister came to stay with me after i had cooper we had so much fun i think thats when we became the closest


• when morgan hung a wipe out the car window in the middle of july so she could blow her nose with something dry...i think we laughed until we almost peed!


• the smell of a monsoon coming


• the smell of fireplaces in the fall


• dating geoff and thinking he was the funniest person i have ever met


• watching geoff shake what his mamma gave him..and then realizing he was the funniest person i have ever met


• 222, 444 no moga, no moga


• going antiquing and to the gem show with my mom and sister


• staying in the hotel with my mom and sister every time they came to see me and requesting a certain room because we knew the shower water pressure was the best in that room


• father daughter dates with my dad


• watching my dad play with my children and teaching coop to take his thumb off and put it back on again


• when my mom comes to stay with me we make our rounds..ross, merchant market, home goods, suzies deals, joanns, and sweet tomatoes


• being present for cannens birth..it still makes me cry when i think about it~thank you sheesh!


• spending the last few days of my grandpas life with him and thinking i should have spent more time with him when he was well


• sheesh, tap, nani and myself taking justins four wheelers into woods to find some mud..and MUD is what we found
oh girls i know you love this!!!

• when nani and justin came to stay with us, and we would sit on their bed in roos tiny room and play cod all night long!


• cooper winning a pig nose at schnepffs farm every year


• when geoff and i moved our family to the valley we felt so grown up


• going to pick out and bring home my hound dog!


• our trip to mexico..even though i was so miserably sick with morning or all day sickness from the twins..i still had so much fun watching my children see the ocean for the first time and them being so fascinated with all the little sea creatures you can find when the tide is out.

well thats just a few, i have lots more and just maybe i will add them later!

I'M BACK! boy its been awhile...

we have moved and it took cox FORRREEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRRR to hook us up to the rest of the world again, it was nice with out tv but the phone and internet is what i missed the most...so its been a busy couple of weeks and i have a lot to catch you up on, ready, set, go!



it truely was a happy 4th of july, spending the 4th at home is my favorite..the weather is perfect you couldnt ask for better. it really makes you want to live there all year long..until it gets so bitterly cold and then your reminded how much you really dont miss it!

i love my children all four of them, sheesh made the kids these super cute shirts and onesies two wear, they turned out great and the kids loved them!

so im thinking kortlyn and kynlee are going to more alike than her twin comparing baby pics, i told geoff we can only make two kinds of people a cooper kind and a kortlyn kind. i have a picture of cooper and kaylee they look alike as well.

heres my girl, with her elect petersen for sheriff sticker that she wore all day long!

cannen was so fun, he was a highlight for me..he had us laughing all weekend.."its ok"!~

after the parade we all end up at grandma downings house to have bbq and hang out in her perfectly groomed backyard until the fireworks. the kids had so much fun as they do every year.

geoff was the entertainment for the kids this year, i think he had as much fun as they did. "duh nuh, duh nuh, duh nuh!!"
