Why I love him..

I have posted this picture before..but I just love it! It says alot about his love for his sisters all three of them. Everyday I over hear little conversations between him and the girls(kyn and kay) that just brings a smile to my face. It reminds me what an amazing person he is, with such a huge compassionate and loving heart. I hope he continues to be this way for the rest of his life.
The conversation is as follows:

Girls: Hi Bubba!
Cooper: Hi!
Girls: Hi Bubba!
Cooper: Hi!
Girls: Hi Bubba!
Cooper: Hi..uhggg! I am setting up the xbox..please don't touch that?!
Girls: no no? (as they are touching the controller)
Cooper: Please Don't!
Girls: (still touching)
Cooper: NO NO NO!(at this point..patience is gone)
Girls: (fake crying to make him feel bad)
Cooper: awww, I'm sorry!
Cooper: Bubba, doesn't want you to touch this ok?
Girls: k!
Cooper: I love you, you're the best! Give me a kiss!

It just melts my heart when he gives in like that! I hope someday, when he has a daughter(fingers crossed)when he is married first with about 2 years of marriage under their belts and they are about the age of 30 and educated with college degrees :) That he still has a tender heart for her! He is such a great and awesome big brother..always there ready to kiss a boo boo or help them with a "gink of water" or just anything at all. I love him so much..so so so much!

Our trip to the Mountain...

Right away the kids learned how to play with the dog..without playing with her!

I love this Oak Tree in my moms yard..good memories playing under this tree as a kid! It was strange to have all these memories of the things I used to do as a kid here and then watch my children do the same things and have the same ideas..in the same place. It was really special to me and kinda weird at the same time..I feel old!

Kyn-e Beaners..

This is what happens when on a whim you decide to go camping..and you only have flip flops..ewww! They look kinda like burnt toast to me..

Nani and Uncle Duseese treated us to a fabuloso meal of fried chicken and Kyn just couldn't get enough..HENCE the meat in hand!

Horse'n around

On whim, we decided to go out to the Ranch yesterday afternoon for some target shooting with Nani and Uncle Duseese's new gun. While we were on the ranch we noticed there were SO many little ground hogs or prairie dogs or gophers, I DON'T KNOW what they were, but they were everywhere it was almost like the ground was moving there were just so many. So we stopped the car to watch them, and all of a sudden a heard of horses ran right up to us(jani counted 23 horses)..they belonged to the owner of the property..it was so funny. We were kinda nervous at first..and we were wondering how close they would actually get..then they found Nani's car and fell in love ( like that broom commercial..WHO'S THAT LAAADY? Anyways it was funny, the horses are always out on the property but have always kept their distance. Here are some pictures from of our experience, we had a good time!
