Fun at the splash pad

Lots of moms bring their little ones to the splash pad, because it's easy and doesn't require so much..like the pool, the pool is a lot of work.To go to the pool, you~yourself would have to wear swim suit too. I have not reached the bathing suit ready state of mind, so the splash pad is easier for me. I watch all the moms who come alone with their kids or come as a group and sit under the really small shade tree that is practically muddy its so close to the water. But whatever, I don't really understand them anyways..they show up in their swim suits, with make-up and hair did, like they are going to prom. Its of course only to impress the other moms who they might or might not run into.. and they like to talk loudly to their kids so everyone around knows how good of a moms they are! Its so silly, its the park..THE PARK! It's also 95 degrees outside..who cares what your hair and make-up look like because its gonna melt off your face anyways..its really just a waste of time in my opinion! I like to go to the park on a hot day dressed and ready for a HOT DAY..I am prepared for my make-up to melt off and my hair to look like crap from the sweat that drenches me. These moms humor me they give me someone to stare at and laugh at. My girls have a lot of fun at the splash pad and I will continue to go looking like crap and sweating my butt off!

Oh and I can now put the girls hair in a side pony..it's SO CUTE!

OH MY..He's 9

STOP! I can't even believe how fast he has grown! This is craziness! Today Cooper turned 9 years old. It seems like just yesterday I was watching him sleep in his swing, so tiny and wondering what he was gonna look like when he got older. I couldn't have imagined how handsome he was gonna be. I couldn't have ever guessed the sweet, kind, funny and tender hearted soul would turn out to be. I could have never planned for what his life would hold. He is such a great big brother and I know some day he will make a great daddy. He just has a knack with kids and has always loved them even when those kids were older. It takes me back when he was about one and half..he would leave, and I wouldn't even know he was gone..but when I figured it out, I knew right where he went over the to school behind Geoffs moms house to see the "TIDS" he heard them every morning playing on the play ground..and when no one was looking he would jet out the front door and be gone...kinda scary I know..but it so strange to think that even then he loved kids and was kinda giving insight to his future self. He takes such good care of his sisters, all three of them and although him and Kortlyn can have some serious battles he always ends up giving in, because he loves her. I am such a lucky mom and I know all moms say that, but I truly feel this way about all my children, but Cooper was my first..he was my trial and error, he was my practice, he was my getting the hang of it, he was my first love...I never really knew how much you could love another person until I held him in my arms...he stole my heart thats for sure. Happy Birthday Cooper, I love you~ love mom

silverware insanity

I thought the other night.."them girls are pretty busy" and usually into things they shouldn't be..I thought I was genius by giving them something productive and helpful to do. I showed them how fun it is to set the table...I know..I'm such a good mom and so smart to show them how fun it is. They did an ok job, I mean pretty good for 2 year olds...but I think their excitement/helpfulness has gone a little over board! I can no longer keep and my silverware drawer nice and neat..all day, they are trying to set the table or set the "TV STAND"! I think I created two monsters..who love "horks" and "poons" I'm talking forks and spoons people, get your minds out of the gutter!

so embarrassing, that tv stand is sooo dusty! ( that's because I'm too busy chasing two year olds to dust!)

It's time..

Kynlee decided it was time! I wasn't even pushing her..in fact I was in NO hurry, what-so-ever!
After bath the other night, she said "POTTY, I GO POTTY!" so I kinda just rolled my eyes and said ok..I didn't think she would actually do it..and she did! I am so proud and kind of excited to not buy diapers anymore..WAIT, I still have another little girl who is not interested in peeing in the potty, not even a little bit... so till then, I can dream about what I will spend my money on instead of diapers..someday!
