Happy New Year..Happy New Decade

Wow, I am excited to see what 2010 holds for our family. It was good year but it's been a great decade. Here are some highlights from the last 10 years...

2000: I felt I was big(grown up) enough to move out of my Mothers home. I moved to the Valley to live with some friends..which lead me to living in about 4 different apartments with in one year.

2001: I met the little boy who changed my life forever. My Cooper Ryan was born on May 21, 2001. He was 8lbs 5oz and I loved every bit of him. I never knew how much you could love another person until I held Cooper.

2002: I married the man of my dreams. May 4, 2002 Geoff and I were sealed together in the Mesa Temple. What an amazing day, I'm excited to spend forever with you, love!

2003: My sweet baby girl Kortlyn was born on March,17 2003. She is my bestest girlfriend. Geoff and I also took the big step of moving off the Mtn away from our families..to Phoenix. Our first little apartment was so exciting and we made great memories there.

2004: I took a job with the AZ republic delivering papers, Sun-Sun at 1am. It was great for the extra money. We also moved out of our apartment into a bigger condo in the same neighborhood that I delivered my papers.

2005: We bought our first home. So exciting, we moved out of our condo into a home of our own. We lived in Gilbert about 20 minutes away from my paper route. We loved our little house.

2006: We brought home our little hound dog..what a learning experience having a tiny little puppy around. In late 2006 I was involved in a car accident, I supposedly ran a red light(that to this day I swear was green) and was hit by an illegal citizen and flipped my jeep totaling it..on my way to deliver papers!

2007: I quit the paper route..it was great money but crappy hours! We moved out of the house we loved so much and into a more cost effective rental. Cooper started kindergarten, what a fun time. He loved school. I got pregnant with TWINS..I said TWINS, in case you didn't read it correctly!

2008: Our TWINS were born. Kynlee and Kaylee were born April 27, 2008..against my will! They came about 5-6 weeks early. People say its common for twins to come early..yes that may be true, but not mine..they weren't ready! I was right, they weren't, they spent about 6 weeks in the hospital. We moved out of our cost effective rental..into another cost effective rental with a yard and more room to grow..because we have 4 kids now! Kortlyn started Kindergarten and loved it for the most part..it was hard for her to adjust she wanted to be home with me most days and cried a little about it every morning..but once there she had a good time and did well. Cooper started first grade and loved it.

2009: Besides having more trips to the ER in one year, than we've had our entire life..nothing much happened. It was a quiet year, Kaylee dang near cut her finger off, Cooper started 2nd grade and Kortlyn in 1st. Geoff went back to work for the company he started with down here 7 years ago.

Its been a great 10 years, and I'm looking forward to the next 10. In these last ten years I married my best friend and met then fell in love with the 4 people I'm spending my eternities with. I wish you a Happy New Year and even Happier New Decade.

Our christmas break

Oh gosh..where to start! So the kids have been out of school for winter break and its been so nice..I practically never see them (that's not great) they play all day outside with all their friends. I love this neighborhood, mostly this street because they have so much fun outside.

On the kids last day of school, the girls(kyn and kay) were admitted to the hospital for respiratory distress. They stayed 3 days, at the Banner Childrens Hospital, which is a very nice hospital. It was really scary, they couldn't breath, they were having rapid shallow breathing. I took them to the peds office, who told me they need to go straight to the ER..once we got there everyone was so nice and the Dr said they aren't going home. He put them on 02 and breathing treatments every 2 hours. We were sent home with an svn machine and to continue the breathing treatments every 4-6 hours as needed, and we are also doing an inhaled steroid as a preventive measure through the winter months. They may have asthma, but its not for sure since they can't be diagnosed with asthma before the age of 2. They said it was not RSV and it was more symptoms of an asthma attack or viral pneumonia.
While the girls were in the Hospital the kids went to stay with Moga in Show Low, they had lots and lots of fun. I want to thank Nani and Justin for taking such good care of my kids..I really appreciate it..I owe you BIG TIME!

We had such a great Christmas, the girls were better and the all the kids got every thing they wanted.
