Our rainy Disneyland adventure: Day 3

The third and final day of our trip was a good one. We hadn't visited California Adventure yet, and when we woke up it had only be sprinkling. After we got to the park it was empty and dry. It didn't rain until about noon. It was nice to be there and not be soaked. The first ride we hit was Tower of Terror. The kids were excited to ride..or so they said. But, once actually in line and hearing the other people screaming, they weren't so sure anymore. It was awesome, I loved it! Geoff peed his pants ;) just kidding, not really and Kortlyn almost cried and didn't want to ride it again. She was such a little trooper for the scary rides.

This just ABSOLUTELY CRACKS ME UP...Kay loved this ride! She rode it and laughed so hard, harder than I have ever heard her laugh. Made me so happy, it was all worth it.

At this point..it had started to rain AGAIN! But we were very excited for this ride..Micky's sun wheel, OR on this day MICKEYS WET WHEEL! This was a fun ride..the gondola cages on this wheel swing and move as the wheel goes round. They run on tracks so when the wheel goes around the cages will slide down the track and swing..what feels like almost all the way around!! It was a little scary too. I took pictures for every moment, knowing this was gonna be funny to watch.
This Coop saying, "NOT SO SURE!"
This is Geoff saying " Oh this is not so bad..weeeeee!" LOL...
They are both are saying.."UUMMM we are kinda high!"They are both saying "OHMYGOSH!!! THIS IS REALLY SCARY!"

HAHAHHA...They were both freaked out..it was so funny! I just laughed, I have an awesome picture of Geoff totally, peeing his pants again, but I figure we will just leave that for the imagination! All of them were totally freaked out..but once it was all over we just laughed and laughed...

It was about dang time we finally met some of the Characters..we hadn't really seen them because of the rain. So it was nice for the kids to finally see them.

We were told by one of the cast members at DCA to not miss the Aladdin show. We were so impressed..it was a full on Broadway production. It was AMAZING. None of us, had ever seen a show like that..it was so good.
They also offered a little mini sketching session, with one of Disneys real artists. This was really neat, I was kinda hesitant to go(I wanted to be riding the rides)..but Coop was really wanting to do it and was super excited. They learned how to sketch Jack Skelington.

This was dinner on the final night. We had some soup with bread bowls and the kids wanted to chinese. We also had planned on watching the World of Color show. We had preferred seating tickets, from a meal we pre-ordered online. Kortlyn was particularly excited for this, because she had seen the Disney 365 commercials on the Disney channel about it. It was AWESOME..I am not kidding. It is absolutely amazing what they can do with water and lights. Geoff and I have been to Vegas and seen the water and light show at the Bellagio..but they have nothing on this. We really, really enjoyed it.
