what a day!!!

today i woke up with sore and stiff muscles in places i didnt know i had muscles..someone might think, "did you have the best work out of your life yesterday?" to that i say "NAY!"

lets start at the beginning i had an appt to take the girls to their 9 month appt yesterday, which on most days is no big deal..i do it every time alone, why should this be any different! well kortlyn has complained of a stomach ache ever day for about year(i know that sounds really bad) but i had talked to the NP at the beginning of the school year and she said it was constipation..long story short it was not constipation. she also has been to the nurses office twice in one week for an ear ache..to which the nurse probably thinks im a horrible mother!

so i decided to take her along with me when the drs office said they had room to squeeze her in..well kyn and kay have diarrhea and im not exaggerating when i say " im changing someones diaper every ten minutes"..so we get to the drs. and let me also say kortlyn has a complete and total freak out going to the drs office..

so anyways we get there and the drs looks over the girls and says they are fine except kyn has a ear infection that i knew nothing about..another great mom moment! after that it was kortlyns turn and she immediately starts to get hysterical..the dr only wants to do a physical exam and she wont calm down..i was kinda embarrassed! well he informs me that her emotional state is due to fatigue..(oh yeah she is tired all the time) so i said ok, he wanted a urine sample and lab work! then i started freaking out..just knowing how this was gonna go with little miss "scared to death of needles or drs" he said she has two ear infections, and uti...did you say great mom...YUP THATS ME! he also thinks she may have mono..leading to her fatigue!

so the girls are screaming because they are hungry and dirty and kortlyn is still crying because i made her pee in a cup..so we sat in the drs offce changing babies..feeding babies and trying to calm my kortlyn! after that, i thought i would be nice and take her to lunch at McDonald's and i then tried to explain her what they are going to do and why! the explanation went better than i thought it would..

after lunch we go to the lab and they made me wait for thirty minutes with three crying kids..twins were tired and kortlyn knew what was coming..then they call us up to tell me they dont accept my insurance...great! so off we go to another lab..everyone still crying..finally we get there and everyone is some what calm surprisingly and then they call her name to go back and she takes off running through the building to get away..im not joking..i had to tackle her drag her back kicking and screaming and it then took 3 nurses and myself to hold her down while she screamed as loud as she could! then the girls start screaming "for who the heck knows why,..worried, tired, dirty?" and the nurse says "i know how difficult this must be for you"..yeah right lady..you have no idea! after we leave and two more diaper changes in the car, kortlyn..thinking her arm has been chopped off, my nerves were completely shot!
after dinner and all kids in bed..i went to bed and i slept good!
