wow~ 1 year already! today is kyn and kays 1st birthday, i can't believe how time flies. i have tried so hard to hold on to them being babies, and it seems the tighter i held on..the quicker they grew. they have been the best babies, so fun and happy. and i have enjoyed people stopping us when we are out to ask if they are twins and to tell me they are beautiful(i know). every single day has been such a blessing, its hard for me to think that kyn might not have been here..she had to fight so hard! and im so thankful for her strong will and sweet spirit!











kyn and kay were born at 10:33 am on april 27th 2008, it was a good day...i was heavily drugged so i dont remember much..and i didn't get to hold them for an extended period of time until the following day. i didn't really get to look at them or study the features until i woke up and forced myself to walk to the nicu to see them 15 hours after they were born. i found out then, that kyn was 5lbs 6oz and kay was 4lbs 12 oz.. we designated kaylee to be our pink baby and kyn to be our purple baby. they were so tiny and perfect, i still can't believe there is two babies!



its been such a fun and exciting year. twins will keep you on your toes that's for sure. now that they are one, there is all kinds of things they can do:

1. they know what an elephant, a monkey, a duck and a cow say.
2. they can clap there hands and play pattie cake
3. they can dance (its more like shaking there heads from side to side).
4. they can say hi and bye sometimes with the hand motion sometimes not.
5.they can stand in the center of the floor for a short minute without holding on.
6.they can say cheeeese.
7. they can fake sneeze if you say bless you.
8. they like to rock, hug and kiss their babies.
9. they can say uh-oh..and that can be a fun game for them too!
10. they can practically run on all fours...they are really fast:)
11. they can say hi hound dog..its more like "hi ha da" but we know what they mean!

their personalities are totally different. kaylee was our second born, but was supposed to be first. she is our shy quiet one, who gets into everything. she doesn't like to do the tricks listed above..except when she decides to do them. if a stranger gets too close she just might cry..and she is a mommas girl, she will follow me everywhere i go. she loves to cuddle and loves to play with her brother and sisters. she was the first to crawl, the first to stand. she is a complete sweetheart.

kynlee, was the first born and supposed to be second. she is our most outgoing baby. she loves people. she always has a smile on her face(even at two weeks old in the hospital recovering from surgery she was smiling). she is content sitting one place playing with babies or looking at books. she is a thinker and determined, it took a little while to learn how to find her hands or learn to scoot..she has to figure it out in her mind first. she loves to eat and is exciting at the site of food. she loves to do tricks and loves to read books with you. if she has a bb and her sweetie she will sit with you on your lap forever. she is sweet as pie.

their party was so fun, my mom came and some friends of ours! we had a great time, we all laughed so hard watching the girls make a mess! here's the pictures...
