TIME OUT..!

I believe their love for each other started long before they were born. And with that love comes a tag team mentality. Since they were born, they have received everything they want or need at the exact same time be it, bottles, diaper changes, a bath, shots, a pacifier, a snack, a kiss, or a toy. I guess they always have had to share, even in the womb. The affection they have for one another is the sweetest thing you could ever witness. They love to hug each other, kiss each other, change each other's diapers(that's another post), they love to snuggle and when they go to bed they sleep side by side. So when it comes to times outs their natural reaction would be to share that too. It's terribly funny to watch them console one another when the other is in time out, and then take a seat right next to her sister.

Some people may think..they are still too little for time outs. But they aren't to little to have a premeditated plan, and follow through when they know, they shouldn't! So my thought is, you do the crime, you can do the... time-out! So lately I have noticed the girls, conjuring up these plans, while speaking the language no one else understands. They typically will get a couple of warnings like, "_____(insert name here), PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!!" and so on. So that leads to them giggling, running as fast as their little chubby legs can carry them, drop to the floor and start crying, or stare me down like they know what I'm saying, but pretend they can't understand! So therefor we have the TIME OUT!

So far, I think its working..besides the fact that they want to share it and hug each other to make them feel better. It almost breaks my heart to watch them, I can't help but giggle a little. I tried to take a picture of them sharing timeout, but my camera batteries were dead..so maybe another time..I'm sure we will have plenty of opportunities.
